How Engineering Inspections Work
PlantView Engineering Inspections are an extension to Reports Library. The Engineering Inspections module is used to create the engineering report instead of just storing it. Engineering Inspections standardizes the inspection and reporting of components / sub-components. It allows standard evaluation criteria to be established and applied consistently. Engineering Inspections allows for more sophisticated analysis than Reports Library. For example, monitoring the current state of all equipment across units, examining a specific component or sub-component over time. Information is summarized in a grid representing the most recent evaluation that has been performed.
